Managing a hotel has been one of my desires as a person. Looking back at my younger years, I used to recall myself as a person who likes to explore and learn things not by just reading it in books but by seeing and experiencing them personally. That is why I used to travel a lot in many places inside and outside of my country Korea. From my travels, I was able to explore the culture of the place through the leisure programs that I have seen.

    Having that desire in my heart, I decided to take up tourism management. Through that career, I was able to enhance my knowledge regarding the culture, way of living and leisure of several places. As an international student, it has been quite a challenge and enjoyable experience for me to know the culture in terms of leisure of other places.

    From all the things that I have seen and learned, in the end, I want to share them to my fellow people in Korea. More specifically, I want to share the leisure programs that I have seen in other places. In Korea, people can enjoy leisure programs like kayak, table games and other interactive games. However, I believe that aside from the leisure programs that Korea has, it will be more interesting and more benefit-oriented for people if they will be able to know and experience as well the leisure programs of other places. By introducing them to the various leisure programs, they will be able to at least picture out the kind of culture that Westerners, Europeans and other Asian people have without traveling to those places.

    This is why I want to take up hotel management. I believe that through this career, I will be able to effectively share the things that I have learned to people and let them enjoy at the same time. I want people to experience a variety of different leisure programs without the need to travel a lot. Moreover, I want to enrich the culture not just of my own country but also of others by sharing not only Koreas leisure programs but of other countries as well to let people know that these things are worth, not only to enjoy but also to be treasured and be proud of.
